A 'to sand or not to sand' question. I'm repainting my bedroom walls in a colour similar to the existing colour. The walls are in good condition (or will be once I've done all my cleaning, sanding and plugging holes prep). My question is do I need to do a light sand between coats. I'm using Dulux Wash and Wear Low Sheen. I'm thinking that if they look smooth under good light after the first coat I might not need to sand in between. I want to do this properly but also don't want to create unnecessary work for myself. If yes, what grit should I use (I use a combo of orbital sander and hand sanding). Having said that I will defininitely do a light sand between coats on the trim so also wanted to check what grit you would suggest for that. Thanks.
