Hi, I am just looking for help on how to fix this mark on a stone bench top. It feels like the top shiny layer has come off some how. Any advice please.

It appears that the sealer for your benchtop has been somehow peeled off. In this particular instance, I recommend engaging the services of a professional stone top repair person. Technically the store does carry sealers, but they are geared more towards garage floors and paved walkways. It would therefore not work on your stone benchtop.
