Hi there,
I am doing a kitchen reno (a complete hut) with the tiles coming completely off. We are going with engineered timber floors by HARO. They are going to be glued down. The floorer said that he is putting a moisture barrier glue that acts as both a moisture barrier and the glue itself waterproof as to prevent water from seeping through. Also, the glue will be applied 150m up where the pipe fittings (sink).
My question is: does this sound right, can a moisture barrier do both? or does the waterproofing need to be done separately?
Thanks
