How to fill gap behind oven?

Hi I have a double oven and when it was installed they left a gap where mice are entering what options do it have maybe a foaming I can put to seal holes please don’t laugh but we put rocks because we where thinking it would block holes any suggestions please

Hi @magdalini a couple of options:

1. Small pieces of flat timber like plywood fixed in to place using a silicone sealant or liquid nails.

2. Expanding foam, used very sparingly as it will 3X + expand and you want to keep it well away from the bottom the oven.

I went to bunning they said I can’t use the foaming product as dangerous near oven

Can I please request for a few more photos of the oven. It is very close and makes it difficult to tell what I'm looking at. Is there a hole in your wall where the mice are coming in? Can you please tell us the brand and model of your oven. Once you show us the extra pictures, we'll be able to offer recommendations regarding cover.

Ok I wondered about that due to being inflammable. Great your checked, as I should have so my apologies for that. Then the first plan of flat pieces of timber glued in to place will work or sticky back cover plates cut to size @magdalini

If you can find the model number of the oven, it's instruction manual will indicate if the gap can be covered or not. In regards to the mice, I propose looking for the point of entrance. How are they entering your kitchen? I also suggest setting traps such as RATSAK Electronic Mouse Trap.
