Steps
Step 1
All steps have been included here as I do not have patience to "Clicking and adding another steps" :). But I am trying my best to include all the process here.
First every kind of project.
Drew lines on the wall with pencil to see how it is going to look like. I drew on all the walls where I wanted Architraves to be and for visualization as well. this brings consistency. Draws are indicated in arrows.

I tried to get rectangular boxes than square boxes. Rectangular looks better.

Leveling and spacing is very important to bring them on the same line, for the perspectives as well.
Gaps between boxes are important to be same. If the boxes are not fit with completely perfect measurement, it is good idea to finish off with smaller boxes. they look really good too.

Space between top architraves and boxes are also important, where the lines come handy. For some people, this may just be a piece of a cake.
need to learn how to cut in 45 degree using table saw. Handy on joints.

Not a perfect joint but can be fixed with woodfiller and no gaps.

not a perfect joint but paint fixed to some extent.

Nail needs to go a little deeper so that they can be filled with woodfiller. If some portion of nail is still outside the timber, it does not look good with paint or they are noticeable.

Masking is very important before painting.

It is very very important to take off the masking tape as soon as the painting is finished, while the paint is still wet. Otherwise, once they dry, they again start peeling off the paints. We knew this trick but still made that mistake.

Architraves and the boxes needs to be primed before painting.
Step 2
Lesson Learned
While using liquid nail, be careful not to use in excess. May be try not to use where not needed. After 5 minutes or so, they starts oozing out like this.

The liquid nails are very hard to get off once they dry out. The only way to get rid of them is to scrap them off with stanley knife, which again creates mess ( peeling off of paints) like this. We had to repaint the peeled surface.

Try not to get multiple joints like this, otherwise they will be visible if the sanding is perfect. Try to get one complete cut.

Single cut (one shot cut looks like this). we were happy, for someone doing for the first time.

Step 3
Public Opinion or Personal Decision
Some of our friend ask why the new architrave and door frames have not lined up, why the new architraves are thicker.
I guess it is personal taste. We don't mind it. If we had to find thinner architraves, we had to compromise with their features etc. and this comments are from only few friends.

Honestly, they are not big deal, they are unnoticable. However, I am happy to hear your opinion and if this is wrong way, how can we eliminate this now or may be in next project.
