We are moving into a new home with fresh plaster over the internal brick walls, there are so many different brands of sealer on the market for prep for painting. Anyone have any advice they can share on this would be great . Thank you.
Hi @baza,
Just make sure you match your sealer/undercoat to the paint you use for the top coats and you'll be fine.
For example, I used Taubman's Endure recently to paint a room, and was really happy with the results. I used this for the undercoat - https://www.bunnings.com.au/taubmans-3-in-1-4l-white-interior-and-exterior-sealer-primer-undercoat_p1541059
@baza,
You might be interested in this previous discussion. It contains some good advice, particularly the post from paint expert @Simon - https://www.workshop.com.au/t5/Living-and-Bedroom/bare-plasterboard-v-bare-set-plaster/m-p/20645
