How to hang these lights without drilling?

I’m in a rental and am trying to hang these lights. Idea is that they’ll be bedside lamps.

I checked beside my bed and unfortunately the detector said there is electrical right where I want to install! So no drilling. 

They weigh about 2kg and I have tried 3m strips but it lasted all of a day (this picture). I have just tried the 3m claw picture frame hooks but unfortunately because the weight distribution is protruding out, it didn’t hold.

Thanks for sharing your question about hanging your lamp. Do you have a timber side table or does your metal headboard have a timber post or a metal one? It might be possible to attach a timber panel to one of them to allow you to screw the lamp on. If you can please provide a wider picture of your headboard and side table, perhaps we can offer recommendations on how to mount your lamp.
