Painted plastic wicker furniture

Painted plastic wicker and drop sheet covers.

I thought I'd share the process of my brown wicker outdoor setting that I painted white with tile paint two years after the transformation. For those who haven't seen how I did it I'll give you a quick rundown and then I will show you what it is like today and how I keep it looking new, maintained and fresh.

Do you think this would be suitable for wicker exposed to the elements?
Also wondered if it would be easier to spray on.
Such a great way to renew brown to avoid landfill and waste.
would you use the tile paint again?

@moiranne @Thank you🌸 I still love it and it’s going strong although it does tend to crack a little in places mainly under the cushions. I’m thinking maybe because this tends to move when you sit on it. Also we have cats that scratch it, so annoying😆, but I do just go over any little chips with touch up paint. The whole reason I thought tile paint would be a good option was because I had used it in the shower over ultra slick tiles and to this day it’s still perfect. I’m just not sure though about it being in the weather because it is difficult to cover the wicker completely and also if there are any chips that develop water may get under that somehow. Also thinking about discolouration in full sun. I think maybe undercover might be best but that’s just me😊🌸 Spraying I think would have been more expensive although a lot faster and in hindsight I may spray if I did it again. I have actually seen someone use chalk paint to makeover indoor wicker so I’d love to try that too. I may not do it again because it was such a big job and also being enamel the paint is smelly and messy but to this day it is one of my favourite makeovers and I love it! This is it today I made new covers for the cushions😆
