Has anyone replaced slate tiles in an outdoor area. Should I source professional
help or could I tackle part of the job myself,

If you've done tiling before you might be able to replace the slate tile yourself. However, if this is your first time tiling, I recommend engaging the services of a professional tiler. A professional will be able to shape the slate tile and use the proper adhesive to repair your floor. In regards to removal, I would leave it to the professional as well. Any mistake in the removal of the slate tile could affect the surrounding tiles as well and you end with a larger repair job.
