How to build raised planter boxes using pallets?

Hello. I'm wanting to build raised planter boxes (like on 4 legs) using old pallets. Does anyone have some simple plans we can follow. This is for a community project and the finished products will be donated to various community organisations. The plans need to be simple with minimal cutting etc. No gluing, preferably assembled using nail guns or screws.

It sounds like a wonderful initiative, and using old pallets is a great way to upcycle materials while contributing to a good cause. While specific plans for raised planter boxes made solely from pallet timber can be a bit rare, you can definitely adapt simple designs to suit the available timber. A great example is @DiamondDave's Elevated planter box using pallet timber, which was built using pallet timber. @Yorky88 also shared a brilliant Accessible raised planter box using pallet timber made from pallets that you might find useful as inspiration. Both of these designs would suit your project well and can easily be constructed using screws or a nail gun, without the need for gluing.

Since you're looking for minimal cutting and simplicity, I recommend focusing on basic box designs where the pallets can be dismantled into larger sections. This will minimise the number of cuts you need to make. You could use thicker, intact pallet boards for the legs and sides, reinforcing them with screws or nails.
