Need tube socket to tighten a tap mixer

Hi guys, a simple one. I'm looking for a tube socket to tighten the tap mixer in my laundry. I know Bunnings sells pack of them; but as it's a one-off job, I just want the right gauge socket for the job (what is the right gauge?). I once used a plastic tube socket, but I think it actually came with the sink/tap combo I bought - so I'm not anticipating being able to find one off the shelf. Any ideas?

The smallest affordable set available at the store is the Haron Mixer Tap Spanner Kit. It has 4 sizes and is composed of two tubes and a steel lever. This should allow you to tighten the base nut of your tap mixer.
