How to fix stuck toilet float?

The float in our cistern seems to be "stuck/pushing up against" the cistern wall.

I ccan't seem to rectify this, it won't twist or turn and I cannot find any instructions online.

It moves freely when pulled away from the cistern wall.

This seems to only have occurred since I replaced the water hose connector.

Any ideas?

Hi! There was literally 25 minutes between my post and me finding a solution! 🤣

I found the nut that tightened the inlet valve etc and loosed that, then manoeuvred the float into a better position.

So simple really! Got myself frustrated for nothing!! 😅

I'm glad you've managed to reposition the toilet float.
