How to remove toilet seat?

 Dear Bunnings community,

I am trying to remove my toilet seat to install a new seat with bidet however this nut and bolt has been extremely difficult to remove and wouldn't budge. I have tried WD40 as well. Would appreciate if anyone is able to help with a solution thank you

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about removing your toilet seat.

I suggest using either a Craftright 250mm Multigrip Plier or Craftright 210mm Long Nose Plier to hold the nut at the bottom and have someone at the top use a Philips screwdriver to turn the screw loose. If the nut is very tightly fitted, it will be necessary to use two people to remove the nut and bolt assembly.
