i dont understand why carpenter not covering the full side in left side. Is it how they usually do ?does not look good finishing in left side.

Did you ask the builder to cover the entire table with timber? If not, then they would have built it to how they think it should look like. Since it is not finished yet, I suggest asking your carpenter to do the side and the back so that you can get the timber surround look you are after.
