How to add a toilet to a tiny ensuite?

I'm looking to buy a place, my main bone to pick is the ensuite - its tiny with Bath and basin - no toilet.

The way i see it I have two options

1. Somehow convert the bath to shower and create room for toilet - what are my options here and would it be costly?

2. Knock down the wall between ensuite and laundry to expand the size of the ensuite. Obviously this means remove the placement of the bath/change to shower, this create space to install toilet.

Any advise for both options and what my very basic costings might be?

The only information I can find about bathroom spacing requirements is related to disability access in new builds, not renovations.

You can physically fit everything in a 1.6m x 1.6m bathroom, but there isn't definitive information that I can link to. I'd suggest it is possible, but I can't say whether it is advisable under relevant building standards.

I'd suggest this might be a question best asked to a plumber or builder. They will be aware of the spacing requirements and be able to tailor a solution that fits within requirements.
