How to protect timber floors during building works?

I am laying an engineered timber flooring, however our build will not be totally finished. The pathways outside will not be completed and it will be difficult to avoid treading in the dust and grit. Will Bunnings floor protection be strong enough to prevent scratching and dents. Thank you.

Thank you for your question about protecting your timber floors during construction.

I'd suggest using Ramboard Protect Plus. This is a heavy-duty product that I have installed myself on construction projects and can say from experience is extremely durable.

It comes with a pre-taped edge to make installation simple.

Make sure you give the floor a good sweep or vacuum before installing the Ramboard to ensure there is no grit beneath that can cause scratches when walked on.
