There’s no reason you can’t dress the rough sawn Sienna MicroPro sleepers for an outdoor picnic table. Dressing them will give a smoother, more refined finish, which can be nice for seating or tabletop areas. Just keep in mind that after dressing, it’s a good idea to re-seal the sleepers with an outdoor timber oil. This will help maintain the protective coating and ensure the timber remains durable against the elements.
