Water Slide

Hey there! I was just wondering if anyone would be able to advise me on how to create a slip and slide down a sand dune into a lagoon? 
Would tarps pegged into the ground be okay? I also will need some kind of water system to suck water from the lagoon up the sand dune and release it onto the slip and slide but have no idea how to do this.

This is the most unusual post I've read since returning from holidays! But certainly sounds like plenty of holiday fun if you can pull it off! 

How long were you hoping the slip 'n slide would be? And I take it you have no nearby access to a tap?
