Should I tile or paint first?

Hi I’m going to be getting some external tiles laid on my concrete path, but also need to paint the walls which will involve scaffolding. Should I tile first or paint first?

Thank you for your question about the order of projects.

Painting first seems like the logical choice. The tiles would not be there for the scaffolding to damage them or for paint drops to fall on them.

After painting, the walls can be covered with canvas drop sheets to prevent any damage during the tiling process.
