How to fix a cracked sink that has been patched before?

Hi,

Please see pictures. The inner creast of the bathroom sink has an exposed cracked. When I take a close look, I notice it may have been an older crack that has been patched up and now it exposed again.

How can I cover/seal the crack?

Please note I have very limtied knowledge on DIY and would appreciate step by step instructions.

Next, lightly sand the area to smooth any rough edges or loose material. This will help the new paint adhere better and create a seamless finish.

Once the surface is prepared, you can use a product like Rust-Oleum Tub and Tile Touch-Up Kit, which is designed specifically for small repairs on ceramic and porcelain surfaces. Follow the instructions on the kit for best results—usually, this involves applying a small amount of the touch-up paint with a brush, letting it dry, and then applying a second coat if needed. Allow ample drying time after the final coat to ensure the repair is fully set. This touch-up should restore the appearance of your sink and protect it from further flaking.
