Hi all,
Our house is the back of a block of two. The driveway was laid with a gap in the middle and a narrow strip (ranging from 30-50cm) on either side Both of these then had poorly executed pebbles that were simply a thing layer of pebbles with no preparation or weed matting. Needless to say, the gravel provides excellent protection for the weeds that invariably grow.

We don't want to continuously pour poison into the ground. We are considering to either:
a) dig it up and lay down pebbles in a deeper layer with compacted soil and weed matting underneath
b) lay down cobble stone pavers
c) concrete it
All three options seem pretty pricey, and I was hoping to get some pointers in terms of what would be best bang for buck and time for low maintenance?
Thanks,
Tara
