How to remove mud in gap between retaining wall and fence?

Hi all, I am in need of some ideas on how to remove this soil/mud from the narrow gap between lawn retaining wall and fence. 

i don’t want to uproot my fence(15m long) to clean this area.

Are there any mud extraction pumps available that can draw this soil out. 

any other ideas welcomed!

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about removing mud on your fence.

Looking at the photo that you've posted, I can only suggest using a garden trowel and manually clearing the space. Using a narrow shovel might work, but there is also the possibility that the shovel will damage the finish of the Colorbond fence. I'm currently unaware of a dry soil pump that you can use for that area. The pumps available at the store can only pump water with mixed solids but not dry soil.
