How to repair exterior rubber window edge seals?

Hi!

Is there a product or way to repair or replace these exterior rubber window edge seals?

My house is an early 90's brick veneer structure. The rubber seals around the windows have worn over time and there are gaps appearing between the window seals and the brick.

I am concerned water or pests will eventually get into these

window gaps. (Maybe this is not a concern)

Welcome to the Bunnings workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your rubber seal at the bottom of your window.

The rubber seal is actually attached to a small channel under your window and the only way to change it is to remove your window frame. That would be an expensive process, instead I suggest cleaning the bottom front of your window frame with DIGGERS 125ml Isopropyl Alcohol - 125ml. Once it is dry you can attach either the  Moroday MDS2B Self-Adhesive Black Econo Door-Seal or the Raven RP5 Door Bottom Clear 920mm. I recommend doing a test fit to make sure that the strips are long enough to cover the entire window.

In regards to the old seal you can choose to leave it on for extra protection. If the gap between your brick wall and the aluminium wall is too big, I suggest using self-expanding foam to fill the gap.
