Hi! I'm hoping to use some raw Kaboodle cabinets to create a little custom built in mudroom. I was planning on painting them a specific colour, and hoping to get a really high end type finish, like a 2pac paint finish. There seems to be a huge range of 2pac paint available overseas, but the only one I can see readily available here is the Dulux Renovation Range.
I've some-what become competent with a paint sprayer, after having painted our entire house including ceilings with one, then having painted semi-gloss oil based enamel on the doors with the spray gun, which was much more difficult then wall paint, but seemed to give a much nicer finish then the water based enamel.
I've read that the Dulux Renovation Range can't be painted onto raw MDF - so I was wondering if I used my trusty old 3 in 1 Primer, Sealer, Undercoat would I then be able to spray the Dulux Renovation Range 2PAC paint onto the Kaboodle boards?
Or is there a better primer available?
Or even a better 2pac paint available?
Any advice would be fantastic!
