How to add a grey water reuse valve?

Hi,

Im looking to try and reuse grey water from a washing machine which goes through this pipe. Does Bunnings sell the equipment to do so ? Im thinking something along these lines of a valve like this: https://www.bunnings.com.au/rain-harvesting-50mm-3-way-water-diverter_p4760075 and somehow connecting it to a flexible hose pipe.

Any idea how to do this and what to buy ? (I was hoping to unscrew the connector with the pictured measuring tape although not sure if it it a proper connector. It looks painted on and hopefully will unscrew and give me a hole with access to water going through it. It flows into the much bigger valve (pictured last.))

These ensure greywater doesn’t pose risks to public health, contaminate soil, or enter stormwater systems.

You’ll also need to ensure the system complies with plumbing codes in your area and is correctly installed. Greywater must be used sub-surface to prevent human or pet contact, and the system should avoid storing water for more than 24 hours.

Before proceeding, check your local council’s guidelines to confirm what’s allowed and whether approval is required. It’s also essential to use biodegradable and low-phosphorus detergents to protect plants and soil when reusing greywater.
