How to build a retaining wall using existing round steel posts?

Hi Team, I have removed an old steel fence and am left with the round steel posts as shown in the pic.  I'd like to add timber sleepers or similar to make a retaining wall but using the existing round steel posts to keep this job simple.  Any ideas on the best way to fix the sleepers to the round posts?  or other ideas welcome.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your retaining wall.

As much as I would like to say that you can use those poles, I'm going to have to recommend not using them. If you are building a three-level retaining wall, the post you'll be using must be buried deep. The issue is that we don't know how deep the poles are buried or if they are still structurally sound. Putting sleepers on them could result in the poles leaning and all your effort would have been wasted.

To keep your build simple and easy, I suggest using sleepers as posts for your retaining wall. Please note that before you begin, I suggest checking the rules and regulations of your local council regarding retaining walls. Some will have very strict height limits; Others require permits if going past a meter.
