How to fix rendered wall patches?

Hi All

I recently rendered my home brick walls. Haven’t painted yet with all these rains. Some patches have appeared at the bottom of only one section under the window which is also covered with ceiling as per the photos. I was wondering if anyone could advise what might be the issue? As you can see in the second photo, other adjacent walls which are even more exposed to rain, do not have the patches.

Any advice is appreciated.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your rendered wall.

I can understand how frustrating it can be not being able to paint your finished rendered wall. Because you've left your porous unsealed rendered wall in the rain, I suspect that a bit of mould is starting to grow in it. That is why you are seeing those patches; They are an indication that water is sitting in those sections of your rendered wall. 

To remove the mould and mildew growth, I suggest using 30 Seconds 5L Outdoor Cleaner Concentrate. For a thorough clean you can also use a soft bristle broom to scrub the surface of your rendered wall.
