How to fill gap between pavers and retaining wall?

I have a small gap between a strip of pavers and a garden bed retaining wall. I recently pressure cleaned everything - but with all the rain we’ve had, I think that earth is splashing up from the pavers onto the retaining wall. I’m hoping that by filling in the gap, it will stop this happening.
what would I use to fill this gap?

I have a strip of pavers, and there is a concrete (I think) edge - but some of it has broken away & there is now a gap between it & the pavers.

Next to that there is a strip of earth, & a strip drain. This is where the gutters overflow in the torrential QLD rain, & the earth has washed away a bit; and moss grows on it.
How can I fix these 2 issues?

Hi @Scootergirl

I would highly recommend a polymer sand that brushes in between the paver cracks and sets to form a bond between pavers.

Just follow there instructions.

This will lock the dirt from washing out done right.

Hi @Scootergirl

I would dig /scrape out the cement crack and dig out the dirt besides the drain.

I would use pre mixed sand and cement and fill both the crack and where the dirt is making that a solid cement strip between the drain and pavers.

This process can be done gradually a bag of sand and cement at a time no rush.

Hi @Scootergirl,

We've combined your posts as they provide context to each other.

The dirt building up on your walls is because water has collected sediment and then sat against the wall and deposited that sediment. Fixing this is all about fixing the drainage.

The first thing I'm noticing is that your drainage channel looks like it is sitting higher than the level of the pavers. This is likely the major contributing factor to the water pooling in this area.

I'd suggest lifting the drainage channel out, digging out the dirt around it and setting it back in place. You can use the EasyDRAIN Standard Installation Instructions as a guide for reinstalling it.

By reinstalling the drainage channel to a level below that of the pavers, the water will drain far better.

Once the drainage channel has been installed at a lower level, you can sweep polymeric sand such as this Dingo Powerloc Polymer Paving Sand between the pavers and up against the wall. You should then wet the sand down to activate the polymer which will lock the sand in place.

This will allow water to drain through the pavers but won't let it pick up the sediment from beneath and deposit it against the wall.

It’s actually 2 different areas in the garden with different issues which is why I posted it as 2 seperate posts. The drainage channel isn’t near the retaining wall - & it sits below the level of the pavers it is adjacent to. Here is a photo showing the different areas of the backyard.
