What deck framing fixings to use?

Hi there, I am planning to build a DIY modular deck with a similar, but slightly different, design to the Good Times Modular decking you sell at Bunnings Australia (I'm in NZ). I'm not sure if I should be using batten screws to put together the framing, or if nails will be fine. If nails will work, what length nails are best? Will galvanised screws or nails work okay with H3.2 treated pine or is stainless best? I am in exposure zone C so not really close to the coast. Thanks!
