How to install mason pegboard on a brick wall?

Cousin has a masonite pegboard and wants it fixed to brick wall.

She says she has wooden studs but not sure I would trust them.
1. Liquid nail studs to brick wall,screw peg board to it.

or

2. Drill wall and use masonry anchors and screw pegboard to it.

Not sure what see wants to hang off it,but insisted on using this pegboard,and from the poor photo,I cannot tell how good the stud is,if it is a stud at all.She is a pensioner and a bit vague sometimes when it comes things like this.

She is budget conscious, but I want strength.

Both methods of  fixing the timber to the wall are great But  for a pensioner using liquid nails will be a whole lot easier.

Liquide nails the peg board to the studs too if you want.

Both methods are very  strong  .  The  timber stud in the photo look perfect.

You will need a top stud and a bottom stud then you can screw  and or  glue  the peg board to the timber.

Pegboard needs studs to hold it off the wall as the peg board hooks etc need space behind the peg board fit into. 

Very large 1meter plus peg boards  needs a middle stud  so it  dosnt bow inwards.

Where the studs are the  peg board hooks  wont go through and hook in properly,
