How to create a wardrobe?

Hi everyone, I am trying to create a wardrobe in my bedroom. The problem is that the walls at either side of the  3.3m space are Gyprock, there are studs but not in the middle. How many braces would I need to Put up a single metal pole To hold a fairly Substantial wardrobe of clothing?

Thank you for your question.

It would be very difficult to give advice without seeing the space. If you can upload some images of the wardrobe this will help our members understand what you are working with and offer advice based on your specific circumstances.

Unfortunately, there are no hanging rods capable of spanning 3.3 metres, so some modifications will be required. Once you've uploaded some images, I will be happy to assist with this.

If there are no studs in the exact location you need to mount your hanging rod, you can attach a timber cleat that spans two studs and then attach your hanging rod brackets to this cleat. Once again, once you've uploaded some images, I will be happy to assist with this.
