hi there,
I recently put a diverter on my very old wall mounted laundry faucet and attached a trigger showerhead to make it really easy to wash my dogs. It has a little lever allowing me to choose for the water to come from the faucet or from the showerhead. When my friend heard I’d done this and it was cheap and didn’t require a plumber she asked me how we could do something like that to hers. Her faucet is different to mine though and I’m having trouble finding out what I need to do it. I’ve asked at Bunnings and he could only suggest the crappy plastic hoses that always pop off or a method to just screw a shower hose directly to faucet but that means she has to connect it and disconnect it every time she wants to use it. I also asked at a plumbing shop but he wasn’t that helpful. Just said to have a plumber put in a new facet with a showerhead already attached. Maybe they’re right and these are the only options but I feel like there has to be a way to attach a diverter with a tap/lever that allows water to alternate from the faucet or the shower hose. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
