Need Samsung shp-dp728 smart lock replacement

Hi There,
I have currently Samsung shp-dp728 smart lock which stopped working after 3 years. It is not covered under warranty any more. I am not happy as such expensive product giving away in just 3 years. I am looking to replace it with other model. Please suggest any other model which can fit especially the door has cut to suit this dead lock.

Please help with suggestions.

If this lock was purchased through us, the distributor is keen to look into how they might be able to assist. They've requested you send these images, a proof-of-purchase, and the door lock serial number to them at au@digitaldoorlocks.com.au.

If they are not able to assist, they'll be able to determine a suitable replacement in their range, or we'll be able to assist here with potentially something from another brand.

It is not purchased through Bunnings. I was hoping for some suggestions with compatible brand or model to replace it.

Hello @praveenkkmr

There are a number of door locks that might work for your door. I have picked out the ones with a customer review of at least four stars and above.

Here is a list of the door locks:

These are all WiFi compatible locks and can fit standard entrance doors. However, I suggest engaging the services of a locksmith as they will be able to tell you if the lock will fit the existing cut out in your door. Adjustments might be necessary, or part of your door might have to be patched up with timber. An on-site assessment will need to be made by the locksmith before they fit the lock you've chosen.

I suggest having a look at the Bunnings door lock installation service, this will save you time in having to look for a locksmith in your area.
