How to repair concrete tabletop abrasions?

Whilst staying at a friends holiday house I attempted to remove pizza grease stains from a polished concrete table. It worked… however it’s worsened the issue and I seemed to have scrubbed so hard with bicarbonate soda I have left these white discoloured patches. Far worse than the grease stain which would have gone away overnight. Any help appreciated!!

Unfortunately, in your efforts to clean up the grease, by using bicarbonate soda, which is an abrasive, I think you've unintentionally scrubbed off the concrete sealer.

In the centre of the top right patch, does it feel chalky or very different to the areas around it? If you put a small amount of water on the patch, does it bead or does it soak in?

You may be able to reduce the two patches on the left by polishing them. Use a microfibre cloth to apply some Feast Watson Floor Polish. Work in a circular motion to bring back the shine.

The patch on the right will likely require more work. If your friend knows what sealer was used on the table, you could try to spot repair, but this may still show through.

Unfortunately, you may need to contact a concrete polishing specialist for assistance with this.
