I am planning to replace an old lock on my laundry/backyard door.
I am looking for some suggestions. I would like a lock that looks modern and aesthetically pretty. Can you recommends any suitable locks that I can find in Bunnings?

There are a number of models available, and it all depends on what you would like to spend for your door lock. For example, there is the Lane Bala Satin Stainless Steel Knob Security Set an excellent starter set that provides good security. Next is the Gainsborough Stainless Steel Manning Combination Entrance Knob Set. It is a little bit more, but the materials used on it are much more robust. when changing over door lock sets it's best to include a dead bolt as well to provide extra security.
You can get lever sets but it is better to stay with the round handles as it is harder to force open and can't be forced like a lever handle. The next level would be to install a smart lock like the Orion Grid Connect Smart Door Knob Lock. It can be controlled via your phone app. I suggest visiting your local store to see which one you like.
