New front door painted Fuschia Berry

We wanted to brighten up our entrance to our recently bought home. We had previously had pink doors in our other homes. I just had to have another pink door! We bought the door from Bunnings on special order. We then purchased the paint colour that we had used name times before, ‘Fuschia Berry’ by Dulux. Please note, it takes many coats to get this paint on, possibly because of the pigments. We are thrilled with the difference it has made. Next up is our new tiling.

Special order ‘Hume door’ through Bunnings.

Black hardware also bought at Bunnings

Sanding & undercoat paint, before the main colour is applied.

Steps

Step 1

The door comes primed. But still needs sanding. 

lots of coats of the paint are needed in this beautiful colour

Lastly install the hardware. We purchased ours at Bunnings
