How to replace globe for Molecules Chandelier?

Newbie here. I’ve bought this pendant for my dining room with no glass/globe. They told me i need to use a g9 globe but how do I attach the glass? Apologies if im using the wrong terminology. Please help me understand which light globe to attach and how does the glass cover sit flush. Thank you

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @mlak. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about light globes.

A G9 globe is a small bi-pin halogen globe that wouldn't fit that Edison screw fitting you have in the housing. I would have thought an R80-style globe would be suitable. However, that really depends on what the pendant and globe are supposed to look like. Do you have a picture of it with the globe in it, perhaps from some marketing material?

You mention a glass cover, is that something that was provided with the unit?

Thank you so much for your reply Mitchell. I’m so happy to know I’m not going crazy. I’ve purchased different g95 and today a g120 (all e27)

They all stick out. Ive uploaded what this looks like and what the marketing pic looks like. There was no glass cover. I assumed there would be one and the g9 globe would sit inside with some kind of attachment, then i realised you can buy large globes (hence the purchase of the g95 and g120). I’ll try looking for what youve suggested and i look forward to any more advice you can give. Cheers!

After a little bit of searching, I believe it's called the Molecules Chandelier and can use both the white and clear g95 light bulb. The following bulbs:

Will all work with your chandelier, it just depends on the look you are after.

unfortunately both those sizes (g90 and g125) leave the gap between the globe and the bulb of the fixture. I almost need something with a shorter “stem” in order to look like the marketing image however I’m not sure if that is even a possibility and could just be the advertising image making it look that way. I may just have to settle with the “gap” between fixture and globe. Appreciate your help 🙂
