How to assemble Mimosa Burleigh Gazebo?

Hi, I’m hoping there is an assembly video of how to do the roof of the gazebo I'm assembling. Its quite high. I’ve managed the frame although I wont be able to reach the screws for the roof sheeting. Is it strong enough for me to walk on the roof? The timber is very lightweight like balsa wood.

I'm sorry but there are no assembly video guides for the Mimosa Burleigh Gazebo. If you find that it is physically impossible for you to reach the proper spots of the roof sheeting even with an extended ladder, I suggest engaging the services of handy person. You can place the job on either Airtasker or Hipages and make sure to include a few pictures and as much detail on what you are after. This will help in getting an immediate response. Make sure to ask for references so that you can see their work history. I don't recommend walking on the roof as it is not designed to be walked on.

It's not that it's difficult. It's that it is absolutely impossible unless you choose to walk on the roof. And I don't trust the sturdiness of the mimosa structure with my life. Not happy to have come to this impasse at the end of construction.

Hi @AndyNewman,

We've heard back from the manufacturer, and they've advised that "Following the assembly instructions with placing the panels from left to right, you should be able to reach over after each panel is positioned from a ladder to secure the screws. It is not recommended to climb, sit or stand on the structure at any time".
