How to install shelves using Carinya brackets?

Can I use these brackets for shelves in Laundry, the wood I am using is Carinya 125 x 100mm Black Angle Bracket - Heavy Duty

SpecRite 2200 x 600 x 26mm Beech Laminated Panel, the shelves will be 8 inches in depth and 70 inches long. 

My question is can I use these brackets the other way around?  For instance the long side under shelf and the shorter side above shelve?

Welcome to the Bunnings workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your shelves.

If you are cutting the Specrite panel down to 8-inch strips it is possible to use the angle bracket with the short side going to the wall. My best advice is to make sure that the angle bracket is very well anchored to the wall. Please make sure not to overload your shelves with heavy items to prevent it from sagging or failing.
