How to install curtains with bulky architraves?

Hi all! I’m hoping to install some s-bend sheer curtains here, but am a bit puzzled on the best way to do so given the bulky ‘decorative’ corners in the ceiling.

I’ve included a picture that shows the look I’m going for. Ideally the curtain rod would cover the entire width of the blinds.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I suggest covering the indentation with timber as it will create a flush surface for securely mounting the curtain rod. To ensure stability, you might want to use a piece of timber that fits snugly within the indentation and secure it with construction adhesive, screws, or brackets, depending on the material of the existing wall. If the decorative feature is plaster or another soft material, using wall plugs or toggles may help reinforce the attachment. 

Another option is to install ceiling-mounted curtain tracks, which could allow you to bypass the indentation entirely while still achieving the full-width sheer curtain look. If aesthetics are a concern, painting the timber to match the existing wall or ceiling could help it blend in seamlessly.
