How to fix leaking water pipe from the outside of the joint?

Hi,

Ive got a leaking outdoors PVC pipe where water is squirting out through its joint when the tap is opened. Its very hard to shift both ends of the pipe to take it apart so i was wondering if there was any sealant which might seal the joint from the outside without moving the pipes apart ? (see image with large pipe with water squirting out). I guess something strong, yet sticky and slightly flexible ?

I'm currently unaware of an adhesive product that can withstand the direct pressure from a broken PVC water pipe. The position of the plumbing along with the type of damage makes it extremely difficult to repair. I recommend engaging the services of a licensed plumber to repair the leak in your PVC pipes.
