How to renovate pavers in a small patio?

I am tidying up my front entrance area and looking for some advice as to how I can 'renovate' my pavers. Other than looking like some of the 'colour' had come off, the pavers are in good condition (no crack/breaks). I would prefer to do anything to them 'in situ' as such but they could be pulled up if necessary. Ideally I'd like to 'repaint' the pavers another colour and I also understand there is some product you can put between the pavers to stop weeds growing in the cracks. Not an area of expertise for me! Thanks.

To start, I’d recommend addressing the weeds first. You can either dig them out manually or apply a herbicide to tackle any persistent growth. Once the weeds are removed, you can fill the gaps with polymer paving sand. This sand will help lock the pavers in place and prevent future weed growth, providing a cleaner look.

For repainting the pavers in situ, I’d suggest using Rust-Oleum 3.78L Concrete and Garage Recoat Primer. The primer will provide better adhesion, especially since the previous paint had trouble sticking and there may still be some residual paint on the pavers. After priming, you can apply a suitable outdoor paint for pavers to finish off the look. Make sure the surface is thoroughly cleaned before starting any of these steps, and allow plenty of drying time between each phase.
