How to relocate a garden tap?

Hi,

I wonder how to relocate / re-pipe the outdoor tap as it is very closely caught with my newly installed fence gate while the door is

opening/closing .

or there is another solution to reduce the contact of both of them.

currently, I have to use the tap to prevent the metal scratching each other

To relocate the outdoor tap, you'll need the services of a plumber, as they’ll be able to safely re-pipe it for you. If the tap just needs to be moved over a small amount, it might not be a significant cost.

Alternatively, if you don't want to go down the relocation route, you could consider adding a protector to the gate to prevent it from scratching. Another option is to install a door bumper on the ground to limit how far it opens, keeping it away from the tap.
