These cute little side tables are such a handy addition to any sitting area. They are super light and very manoeuvrable, making them perfect for multiple uses. I’m so happy with how these look finished and couldn’t believe how quickly they came together.
Steps
Step 1

Using the table saw, cut 2 x 330mm square panels. Then use the scrap MDF to cut 12mm strips.
Step 2

Cut the strips to size and glue them to the edges of each panel. I used QuickGrip clamps to secure them while they dried but you can also use a board and a heavy object to clamp these down.
Step 3

Cut 8 x 450mm and 8 x 330mm pieces using the 19 x 42mm dressed pine.
Step 4

Create frames for the legs by securing 2 of each size to each other to crest a box. Use the exterior wood glue and 50mm timber screws to join the corners.
Step 5

Secure the tops to the pre-made leg frames using the 6g x 20mm screws. Cut 4 pieces of 19 x 42mm dressed pine to complete the frame underneath the top.
Step 6

Sand thoroughly with the disc sander.
Step 7

Paint using the Dulux enamel spray paint.
Step 8

Glue down the tiles and set aside to dry.
Step 9

Mix the grout according to the instructions on the bag. Spread evening using a flat tool / plastic spatula. Using a wet cloth, wipe off excess grout from the tiles. Allow to cure for 24 hours.
Step 10

Enjoy!!
