How to grow daisy in garden bed?

Hi guys,

Is anyone here can help and give us some advise.

We planted few Daisy flower plants in our garden bed. However during this summer one after another they turned brown and looks like the plants died?

We watered the whole garden bed atleast twice a week (Depends how hot the day is).

The rest of the plants in our garden bed looks healthy and bloosming just the Daisy.

We trully appreaciate your help with this.

It sounds like your daisies may have struggled with heat stress, inconsistent watering, or poor drainage. While daisies are drought-tolerant, they can still suffer if their roots stay too wet or too dry for extended periods. Since your other plants are thriving, the issue is likely specific to the daisies rather than the whole garden bed.

Watering twice a week may not be enough during extreme heat, or it could be too much if the soil isn’t draining well. Daisies prefer deep but less frequent watering, ensuring the water reaches the roots rather than just wetting the surface. If the soil stays soggy, the roots may have rotted, so checking for mushy roots or an off smell can help diagnose the problem.

If the stems are still alive, try pruning back the dead parts to encourage regrowth. Also, inspect the plants for signs of fungal disease or pests, which can weaken them. If they don’t recover, replanting in a different spot with better drainage or improved soil may be the best solution. However, if the inner core of the daisy has totally dried up, it can no longer be revived.
