Hi all, I have 3 skylights in my two storey townhouse. One in the main bathroom, one in the ensuite and one in the upstairs hallway. All are 300mm / 30cm round skylights. I have removed the plastic internal cover and found that the internal reflective tubing has a hole / has torn in at least 2 of them. I am wondering if it is possible to repair this or if the entire reflective tubing would need replacing?
During tenants staying, the plastic internal cover has also been siliconed down in a few places to stop it living with wind (probably caused by the tube hole which is allowing bugs in). Any tips for successfully removing the sealant? It’s a thick few pieces around 8mm-10mm thick and around 3-4cm long in multiple places. One of the two covers has snapped while being removed so I will need to replace it.
Thank you for any help!
