How to install two storey cubby house?

Hi everyone

I'm just about to install a pre-built two storey cubby house on a sloped grass backyard. The picture below is the cubby house in its  previous location. The cubby house has a timber base. I'm looking for the best way to attach it to the ground so as to prevent toppling. It previously was held into the ground with galvanised steel stakes. Im looking at making the installation more permanent with better drainage.

My options as I understand it are a concrete slab or posts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your cubby house.

Both options you mentioned are suitable for permanently installing your cubby house. Timber footings buried in concrete will allow you to screw the cubby house legs to the exposed timber posts. This has the advantage of allowing you to repair the cubby house legs without having to break the concrete footing. I personally prefer using a slab as I am not a big fan of digging. Using standard 90mm x 45mm to build your form work, you'll be able to pour concrete to the size that you need. This will allow you to anchor the footing of the cubby house to the slab using galvanized steel brackets.

Both anchoring methods will allow you to adjust the level of the cubby house by adding timber fillers to the legs even if the area has a slope.
