Hi all, I hope this helps diy ers.
my kitchen was built with Harn branded Triomax drawer runners. Due to wear and tear, some of the soft close functions have failed and leaving the drawers partially open. I was told replacement parts are not available.
I read on this Bunnings site about people having success using Hafele branded units. Yes this does work but it’s not simple. Trade skills and tools required. The base and back of each draw needs to be narrowed by saw or plane. Mine had to be narrowed by 5mm, so this left the holes on a poor location. You might need to fill some holes with glue and timber dowels. Some new holes need to be drilled too. The two brands look similar so appearance is not really an issue. Good luck.

Take you time, old saying as taught by my father in law, “measure twice cut once”.
the Hafele runners are a different height so be carefull with how you place and measure to secure the new runners to the old cabinet.
