How to redirect water into gutter?

Hi all,

I have a slope roof with edge rods (pic) where the rain water would flow along the rods (outside) towards another building (as marked with red dash lines) and splashing the door/entrance. 

I thought of using blue tac (marked in blue circle) which will block the rain water and redirect the flow downward (marked in blue dash line)

I would like to get your opinion if there is another cheaper solution than mine.

I was looking at your photos and description and trying to work out what was happening. I think I have it 🙂

The rain hits that curled edge and curls around it and then flows down picking up speed and then launches against the other building 🙂 Im pretty sure thats what you mean.

Two ways I can think of fixing it. 🙂 Easy cheap way first.

First

Using Everhard EasyDRAIN Compact End Cap plus some silastic, (not liquid nails in case you want to remove it) Glue this over the bottom most end of the curved edge nso the point is bellow the tin edge by half.  This way the water will run down, hit and drop. There are larger end caps that you can check out when you go look, they are for the ends of the Everhard grilled drain.

Second

Replace the curved edge with a right angled flashing such as Angle Flashing 75 x 75 x 1000mm 0.55mm Colorbond steel Woodland Grey - Woodland Grey There are longer lengths and different colours. The special orders desk will be able to help you out if you decide to change it over.
