Hi
I have been reading replies by MitchellMc and wondered if he could help:
I am a regular Bunnings customer, usually at your Tuggeranong store, and have FlyBuys card.
My LG dishwasher, now about 5 years old, came up with an error message AE recently and I Googled for advice. As it seems I might need a technician – and a $200 service call fee – we decided to leave things for a while and revert to hand dishwashing!
I switched off and unplugged the power cord under the sink, and turned off a small tap (with a blue dot as in one of your pictures).
However, I then realised there was no cold water in the kitchen mixer tap.
I looked underneath again, and could not find a separate tap for the dishwater inlet hose. But there is a small grey plastic box between the bottom of the tap and the top of the hose.
This doesn’t seem to be a tap of any sort and I wondered if it was some new kind of water hammer arrestor.
Will try to attach top and bottom photos, but can’t remove the shelf with a hole in it!
My concern is that, after a week or so, some water has accumulated inside the bottom of the dishwasher, suggesting some sort of leak. In time, could overflow and damage untiled floor!
Grateful for any advice you can offer

.
Thanks
Peter Carroll
